pheni Paratha Recipe By My AWeSOme ReCIpeS



 Recipe in English:


Ingredients:

-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 3 Cups

-Namak (Salt) ½ tbs or to taste 

-Sugar powdered 1 & ½ tbs

-Sooji (Semolina) 1/4 Cup

-Ghee 2 tbs

-Water 1 & ½ Cup or as required 

-Ghee 1-2 tbs 

-Ghee for frying 


Directions:

-In a bowl,add all-purpose flour,salt,sugar,semolina and mix well.

-Add ghee and mix well.

-Gradually add water and knead until dough is formed and knead for 5 minutes then cover and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

-Grease hand with ghee and knead dough again until dough is smooth (approx. 5 minutes).

-Divide the dough into four equal parts.

-Take one part and make a ball,sprinkle dry flour and roll out (thin) with the help of rolling pin.

-Add & spread ghee,sprinkle dry flour and cut into thin strips with cutter.

-Sprinkle dry flour,gather all layers together and stretch slightly then roll the dough.

-Grease hand with ghee and press gently to spread the dough to make a paratha (makes 4). 

-Heat griddle,place paratha,spread gently and fry on medium low flame from both sides with ghee.

Ajza:

Directions:

-Bowl mein maida,namak,cheeni aur sooji dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.

-Ghee shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix karein.

-Thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein aur dough ko 5 minutes kliya ghond lein phir dhak ker 15-20 minutes kliya rakh dein.

-Haath ko ghee sa grease karein aur dough ko smooth hunay tak dubara ghond lein (approx. 5 minutes).

-Dough ko char hisson mein divide ker lein.

-Ek part lein aur ball bana ker maida chirak dein aur rolling pin ki madad sa thin bail lein.

-Ghee dal ker pheela lein aur maida chirak ker cutter ki madad sa thin strips mein cut ker lein.

-Atta chirak dein aur tamam layers ko ek saath ker ka slightly stretch karein phir dough ko roll ker lein.

-Haath ko ghee sa grease karein aur gently press ker ka dough ko haath ki madad sa paratha ki tarhan pheela lein (makes 4). 

-Tawa garam karein aur paratha rakh ker gently spread ker lein aur ghee mein dono sides sa darmiyani halki ancch per fry ker lein.
